11.1-11.3 mild heads/cam?
my goal was originally to get 500rwhp NA, but since that day i've done tons and tons of reading and found that it's not the numbers that count, but the timeslip
my goal at this point is the very low 11's (11.1-11.3) and pulling the front wheels off the ground... i'm wondering what is needed to reach this fairly easily... from what i've read a mild head/cam setup can do what i'm looking for.
i suppose the point is more to get specific part recommendations and not to ask a question. what are proven heads/cam combos (with boltons obviously) that you've seen do one or both (11.2 and front wheels) of my goals??

i've done a lot of looking around and i've already seen and gotten a general idea of what i want as far as pretty much everything you listed goes, (stall, trans, rear, tires) i'm looking for suggestions on the power-making end of things though i realize the rest is still definitely necessary

Check out this thread in the dyno section, guy runs low elevens with a small cammed ls6.

A mild h/c will make enough power but the real work is going to be getting the 60ft to where it needs to be to cut those times with that much power.

and the 60ft comes down to tires, suspension, gears>?
my original plan was to go with a set of AFR 205's since they seem to be proven, and get a cam specced to their high and low points by one of the gurus on here (after reading that post, looks like i'll be looking into EPS lobes)
EDIT: TOP FUEL, i plan on getting koni's and strano springs in the future

A QA1 or Strange front shock/spring combo is very good for a street/strip app and will allow you to lower the car as much as you want. In the back, once again the qa1/strange is a good shock to go with. spring wise would be best to call around and see who sells or can make a lowering spring with a close to stock spring rate. Or you could just remove the isolator on the stock spring, that will drop the back about an inch. there are other ways to lower the back, but they tend to take a way some of the street feel.
