Yes stock motor pal. Had it apart, stock heads, pistons ls1 intake, cam and tranny and big ugly stock conveter ! everything. Point is that Yes those are higher numbers but not saying that stock stuff can't run. My cars only suspensions mods are lower control arms, homemade subframe connectors and 3.73 gear and d/s loop. And went 12.78 motor and 11.66 with nitrous.

That has nothing to do with this thread.

All we're saying is, 363rwhp is impossibile with a stock LS1. Period. That has nothing to do with what sort of times they can run with mods that don't add HP (like gears, stalls, tires, suspension, and weight reduction).

The point i was making is, as someone else posted is taking it to the track to see what it actually does, sense the dyno numbers are not correct. Do you see the point i am getting at? I wasn't saying that gears, etc make hp. What i said was a little off topic from the point, but i was just imputting that you can see what it acheives at the track with the minimum parts. Sorry for the confusion.

Even with the point you are trying to make, you left out the most important number, the NA mph. 12.7 is nice, but it's possible to run 12.7 at about 103-104mph, which would indicate less power than an average stock LS1.

you mean 243's. and yes, Op check your head castings (check the passenger side towards the front) and let us know what the three digits are that are listed on the heads. if its anything besides 241 then you don't have stock heads.

You sure thats not the HP at the crank!? No way its making that with only those mods. Take it to the track see what you trap. Take it to a nice shop as you have mentioned and find out whats done to it if it is indeed 363hp to the wheels. Nice numbers though

Good mph, but not making 363 to the ground. I realize that you aren't making that claim about your car, but the point of telling him to hit up the track is that the trap speed will be a good indicator of actual HP.

Exactly.

Unless someone stripped a bunch of weight out of the car at some point. This will also raise trap speed without add HP.

If the car traps too high for the mods, I'd still get the car weighed before beleiving the mustang-dyno'ed 363rwhp number. It's just impossibile to beleive that number, and getting the trap speed and vehicle weight are MUCH easier and cheaper than breaking into the motor. Unless of course, you can plainly see a casting number on the head other than 241. Also, double check rpms to mph to verify gearing, that too can inflate trap speed.

Ya my car weighted around 3520 with me in it at the time when i went 108 mph. I am not sure about hp to the wheels in relation with mph are you guys ? ? I know you have to have around 500 to go around 115 116 mph. But i don't know the calucation.

400 to the wheels will get you around 116-117 mph in a stock weight car pending weather conditions.
