Typhoon HELP!!!

Typhoon HELP!!! Just installed my Typhoon 85mm intake manifold car starts up and rev's way up with a whine and then stalls out. Could this just be a massive air leak? Also installed with stock ls1 coolant lines Tech guy from PP said I could. Could the ls1 lines be holding me up and not making me seal right?
A few questions first:
- Did you torque it in the proper sequence?
- Were the gaskets new or in good shape?
- Did you double check the MAP sensor and vaccum line?
- Did you make sure you have the brake booster line hooked up?
- Is there an EGR blockoff? If so is its gasket good?
- Is your PCV connected to it properly?

I torqued in right sequence.
They were new but they are the black paper gaskets and I did not use any RTV silicone spray just the gasket itself.
Checked map and vacuum line.
Booster hooked.
Hooked my EGR back into Typhoon manifold.
PCV off throttle body was connected.

I do not want this to turn into a get this or get that thing. I want help on the intake manifold I have. All of my friends are running typhoons and having NO ISSUES! Now if you can offer any real help I would appreciate it.
Sounds like it is leaking unmetered air somewhere. You shouldn't have a problem with the coolant lines, does the typhoon require the rear passenger side valley cover be a shaved bolt like the other aluminum ones? My BBK didn't come with a button head bolt for that so I used my dremel and shaved off the top of the stock bolt so it would fit.

Does it specify it needs LS6 coolant lines? If so then that is your problem, and I would remove the intake before either it or the coolant lines get damaged.

Verdad Gallardo If yours had an LS6 intake like the 01-02 cars you wouldn't have changed your intake out. So that means to me that you chose not to follow the directions when you purchased the intake, and therefore you are having a problem now. I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but now you just doubled your work since you have to take it off and put the LS6 lines in. 
The only thing you **might** try is taking it back off and gently flattening the crossover pipe with a mallet, but you still might not get it on there, if it says LS6 lines it means it.

You can use LS1 lines they just need to be flattened, to the op if you didnt do that, thats your problem. There's probably air getting in somewhere. I ponied up the 60 bucks for the LS6's as I didnt want to cut any corners. If you run into any problems I think I have a LS1 set lying around somewhere.

Yeap same w/ the Typhoon, people always figure out cheaper or free ways to do things w/ these cars.

I followed the instructions to the letter and took my time didn't think a single corner was cut. Then I realized the front page under the parts list it said I would need the ls6 lines. It was the only thing saying about the lines.

I actually just used the new lsx set from the dealer. There is a front crossover and blocked the rears off. I have heard that can cause issues with cyl #7, but I have had no issues on at least 3 years with that manifold. One more thing. Are you using the stock TB or are you using the PP 85? Also there should have been a spacer with it and if you are using it the TB won't close all the way.

Hmmm. . . . Not speaking from hands on experience here.
But it sounds like the coolant lines are not letting the manifold sit flush on the gaskets.
Also, the stock TB is a bad choice for a 85mm intake opening. There is a opening mismatch since the stocker is much smaller then 85mm.
