Oh hell. Too many to remember....
Parts wise-
....The 1st cat back
....The 2nd cat back(now TD's)
....The 1st intake(now FAST 90)
....The 1st cam
....The 2nd(still current)cam
....The 1st set of heads(now TEA)
....The 1st clutch
....The 2nd clutch(now RAM)
....The first 3 gear swaps in the 10 bolt(before the 12 bolt)
....The first 2 gear swaps in the 12 bolt not using a solid pinion spacer
....The 1st LCA's(now tubular dbl. adjustable)
....The 1st shifter(now Pro5.0)
....The 1st set of Drag wheels(now Bogarts)
....The 1st pair of 26" Mt Streets(now 28" MT Streets)
....The 1st Torque arm(now adjustable off the tail shaft)
.... and a whole bunch more I can't think off.... (I'm a gluuten for punishment)

Install mistakes-
Broke the rear oil pan(really rear cover)bolt off in the block(who knew that little phucker was one of two pan bolts that want 106"lbs and not 22ft. lbs.
Broke a dip stick off in the block(had help) me > < Damian
Drpped a lifter in the pan(Russian roulette days)

Thank God the car is done...... (for now)

Did the !FRA and then ended up buying a new lower airbox assembly before driving the car (car is in winter storage) due to reading about heat soak, no power gain, and the filter getting filthy...at least I sold the cut airbox assembly so it was a $10.00 loss.

Did the SLP lid and couldn't be happier...perfect fit.

No other mods to the car and that's how it's gonna stay...yeah right.

well i didnt know i made any mistakes till i started looking around on this sight. so i guess i shouldnt have put flowmaster on my WS6. it seems to run okay. i havnt really noticed any performance DEcrease. but i didnt notice any INcrease either. someone tell me why flowmaster is so bad for these cars and what should i do to change without killing my wallet.

They are a tad bit restrictive on the lsx engines...

But honestly, if your looking for power, you have two options.

A True Duals
B Dual Cutouts

I have a flowmaster on my car because I love the sound. I also have a 700 dollar borla catback in my garage, but I like my flowmaster, so it stays on... I like the sound, and the performance is better than stock, but if I want'ed the best, i'd through some cut outs on my ORY...

same here none yet... if anything I have a newbie brilliant mod according to all my friends. No one thought I could get catback performance and killer sound with a $30 cutout. HAHAHA

and to Bobobdog- get a cutout. 1 is fine, no need for two. You can even search some of the topics I made in the external mods forum. I made sure I knew EXACTLY what I wnated before I did it. And LS1tech helped.

Default Hey

I would have to say I have 2 mistakes, buing anyting from VIP Motorsports, when i bought my car everything looked fine then i started going deeper into it and found that he melted the head lgiths, completely painted parts wrong, wired system incorrectly and all mods hes done iv had to redue for my self. The worse mistake was Iv been going to school and dont have alot of time, so i took my engine to a rebuild shop called #1 engines of Arizona rebuild my motor and i ended up with a 2500.00 bill and 600 miles later a half an inch of crankshaft play. How the f#^@ do you mess up on a crank come on. So i learned if you r going to do it the right way you have to do it yourself.

SLP Smooth Bellows. Got sucked in on this before I read this forum.

SLP Dual/Dual Exhaust. Yea it is a nice free flowing system but my Envoy sounds more aggresive! I just found a perfect (except for the tips) GMMG on a totaled SS in a junk yard near me. I'll be putting that on come spring.

I am on my third LS1 and this time I think I got everything right with this one. I got the drive train out of the way early.
Started with a LID, LS6 Intake, then went to with a Mcleod twin disk and Moser 12 bolt, Mac Mid Lengths and ORY and a Custom 3 inch catback w/ cutout.
I don't want to talk about the frist two cars. Well maybe...
I should have never gotten rid of my 2001 Z-28, It went 12.82 with a Lid and cutout on Goodyear Eagle RS-As.

AMEN! How could I be so stupid?

My mistakes:
- SLP headers scrape EVERYWHERE and rusted
- SLP headers... had the originals replaced under warranty and put them BACK ON THE CAR
- SLP FlowPac: crap
- SLP MAF: if you really want to advance the timing, just get tuning software
- nitrous: I got a 5lb bottle because the kit was $10 cheaper isntead of the 10lb bottle
- Not installing everything myself... I paid some ******* $900 for the pathetic SLP header installation. That's just plain mean. How can people be so mean? I learned after that though.
- Not doing my own oil changes because my parents think the dealer knows what it's doing.
- Not coming to LS1Tech sooner to learn all this valuable information
