hmm...mine doesnt do to bad hooking on street tires even with stall and headers...i mean granted it hooks better on the DR's..im gonna have to go back on my camera and find out what my best time is on the street tires N/A with lid/exhaust/stall...but im thinking it was like 7.90's....that was on 18-20PSI....we could go back and fourth like this forever...i like my TCI and you like your fuddle....i hope that ****** lasts you forever and i hope that you wish me the same kind of luck...if TCI is junk then i just hope i got one of the diamonds in the rough

My only mistake was letting a redneck "try" installing motor mounts, get it done yourself or have pros do it.

my biggest noob mistake was wasting a few hundred bucks on 80mm bbk tb, it performs good but could have ported stock and spent the money on somethin else

the guy i bought my 98 trans am from for $3250 had a completely stock setup. de-programmed the rev limiter. added a nitrous kit. im not 2 familiar with nitrious kits but there was 2 blue cylinoids. no secondary fuel line. 1 steel braided line running into the airbox above the air cleaner into a blue AN fitting and that was it. so im guessing it was just spraying unmetered nitrious into the motor. needless to say that if the crank wasnt in the motor i could stick my arm in oneside and out the other. about a 5" hole in # 1&2 wtf. but hey i got the car cheap and i got a shitton of extra parts. and im about to buy a 1998 camaro wrecked minor in the front left for the motor for $1500. but ill have z28 wheels new tranny good rear end. just needs a front clip.

I've seen in the Deals on Wheels flier a V6 camero for sale that did 10.8 at the track
4.1L block, forged everything and 250 or 300 shot of nos.

No, that hardly qualifies as "nuff said." What went wrong?

Bought a loudmouth right after I got the car. Then a year later got headers and ORY. I liked the sound with LM only, but its kind of annoying now with the drone while cruising. Would have done more research before buying my catback.

Heh, that's a pretty roundabout way of making your point. Codes don't really enter into it, since California does sniffer and visual inspections.

Mine would have to be throwing the most aggressive cam I possibly could in there and still try to use it as a daily driver! Second would be purchasing MSD Coil Packs. A POS clutchmaster clutch that was more or less on or off, running straight pipes. The list probably goes on. Needless to say I ended up trading in my T/A for my vette and haven't touched it since besides the tune.
