Mine would have to be installing BMR springs on stock struts just to get my Z lower. I should have waited and installed Konis with them cause it rode like ****. Now a bumpsteer kit, Koni's, and a correctly assembled suspension later, I can say I've come a long way...

Spending money on my stock 10 bolt in an attempt to make it quiet. New bearings everywhere in that thing, new axles and all, only to blow it a few months later and then going with a s60. Coulda put that money toward the s60 in the first place... Anyway point is do not put a dime in the stock 10 bolt! What a fail.

Put in a cam, and did not swap the chain to at least an ls2 chain.
supercharged the car with the stock bottom end holding up every bit of 4 dyno pulls
putting money into the stock trans instead of buying a built one from a sponsor. 1/5 of a brand new trans after shift kit, and labor etc etc...
buying a cam without any intentions of what i wanted to do to the car in the longrun. I had a 228r @114 lsa which was more than fine, but went with the brutespeed blower instead.
buying a d1sc instead of an f1-a off the bat.
other than that all has went well. this is over a 2 year period or more.

biggest mistake buying the car knowing it needed a new trans then wrecking it a week after getting it fixed... 2 years later i have put a 12 bolt with 4.11s tubular lca and phb. lid and still have flowmaster, looking for full exhaust change after getting intierior redone.

I gotta say im not really a fan of my loud mouth 1 cat back, its connected to OBX long tube headers which I like and also OBX y-pipe with high flow cats... i purchased the car and it was already on it but i dont really like the "rasp" sound of the LM...plus I HATE the 4" tips that come off the back I need to change this.

Putting a bra on my brand new Formula for about a year. No rock chips but there are marks from the bra on the nose.

Buying a car that had the following mods:
1. Weiand aluminum intake
2. K&N FIPK
3. Flowmaster cat-back
Should've realized the guy had no clue what he was doing with that group of mods on an '02 SS. Knowing what I know now, I would've asked for the original LS6 intake, the original airbox so I could mod it and slap an aftermarket lid on and would asked him to simply cut the Flowmaster crap off.

Made the mistake of changing my stock steering wheel to a Grant. Did not reaserch, and now have an issue with battery being drained. I have been told this has somthing to do with removing the airbag. This was before, I found LS1TECH. Anybody else make this mistake? Any threads on how to fix? Thanks newbie.
