**help** im a newbie
Hi well i just purchased a 98 z28 with right at 90k miles on it. Its in great shape and has a few things done to it.
FAST 90 intake
Comp Cam for the FAST intake
SLP cold air
Pacesetter LT's with 3" true duals
3.43 gears
Needs re-tuning but would like to do a little more work on the car before i take it to Tom Wong to get it tuned by the northwest LS master. I need help any suggestions. On next plan of action for me. Im in the navy so im a builder on a budget. But open for any suggestions

The Navy shouldn't be an excuse. I know NASTY TA on here was enlisted (don't know if he's in anymore though) but had an insane amount done to his TA. I have a fair amount done to my car and check the other cars in the sig. I'm a single E-5, you have money to spend bro lol Just playing though fella.
But pending on the cam you have, heads for sure and a bottle (like everyone else is saying) unless you have thoughts of forced induction?

So you do have money to spend lol j/k
Stall, heads, lower control arms and subframe connectors would be a great start. After that I would start looking to get a 4L60 worked a little and you will have a very stout performer bro. IMO those would be the best mods to start with before diving head first into a performance money pit lol.

Haha yes i got a lil bit of cash but looking to only drop about 2gs more for now just spent 1400 on exhaust! So a stall and heads will do good for awhile, then maybe injectors and fuel system upgradrs, then a tune, and start working on tranny and chassis

I know e-4 in the navy gets BAH, and Im pretty sure all of it doesnt go to rent, lol! Gotta love having a paycheck come in every two weeks no matter what. Alright back to the topic, get your stall first (im a m6 guy so i dont know much about them). In order to get the full potiental out of those heads your gonna need a tune right after the install. then your gonna need another tune after the fuel system. What I would do is find a tuner that will give you a deal. (like pay for one tune and all the others a free for a year.) Thats what I did. If you plan on having a fun healthy car you will have it tuned quite a bit.
