Ok I hate admitting I'm a newb. Not at all to cars, just to the LS engine family. Ive had some 5.3 powered trucks and loved them. Since I cant find a nice LSX/t-56 powered 3rd gen I'll jsut go 4th gen. i like them too. I found what I think is a nice car on craigslist by me. can anyone read the add and give me their opinion? on the car. I plan to offer less. I'm trying to do my home work first. thank you in advance

also should of mentioned I'm not looking for a mint car. I had one and found that I was to fussy about it. i lost my mind over every stone chip and door ding. It didnt help it was black and I knew every inch of the car. I actually want one that has some scrapes already on it and few mods done to it. Save the pain of the scrapes and the cash in the wallet if some stuff is already done. I was thinking of offering $6500. Still to much$ ?

Looks like its got lots of work done to it so they've put some money into the car. Not bad if thats stuff that you were looking to do. I would at least take a look at it, see how clean it is and how it runs. If you offer and get it for $6500, I think that would be a pretty good price for it.
Only problem I would see is if you're new to LS powered cars and this one already has a lot of work done to it, you might run into problems trying to fix or diagnose problems. thats assuming you're doing the work yourself.

the Pontiac Cluster would concern me, other then that I agree with Bramlok too. It's been someones project car, and that kinda takes the fun of learning your LSx away. I think you'd be happier in a mostly stock car. I sure was.

well my lsx idea went out the window at 4:45 this morning. My truck decided to spin a bearing and my temper decided to bang it off the rev limiter a half dozen times. Then i drove it 10 miles home.
