02_Firehawk

hey can someone give me some adive before i install an look for myself.

I opened up my 02 ls1 outa my firehawk... order patriot spings, comp cam push rods, comp cam rocker arms. im using my stock heads...
the cam i ordered is a

LS1 Comp Cams LSR Cathedral Port Cam (243/251 114LSA) 5.7L-6.2L
(Int. 243 Ext. 251 Lift Int. .624 Exh. .624 LSA 114°)

does anybody no if im going to have any clearence issues here? i dont want to break ****...

adivce would be great aprreciated...

Thats a big *** cam for a stock LS1. Flycutting will probably be necessary, and it will drive like ****. A4 or M6?

WTF did you buy a cam and not do your homework first?

Use the search through here or Google search. There are plenty of guys here at the tech who build/install/spec cams that you could have searched first and pick on their brains before you bought a BIG *** DONKEY DICK cam for your LS1. Really?

Thats a big cam. Did you take to them about your goals for the car? Or did you see the biggest cam they had, and went with that. Research a little more, and ask lots of ? then you get close to what you want out of the car.

I would doubt that will clear w/out flycutting. Definitely check your PTV before you fire it if you put it in. Feel free to give me a call if you decide to go with something else and we can go over your project and make sure we get you something that will work and get you where you want to be!
