Has anyone had any experience with Patriot 243 heads and cam combo?

this question has been asked thousands of times before you might read the stickies and search because this combo has been used hundreds of times. There is alot of info on this site that will come in handy. Also the vendors on the right are a great resource also.

It's pretty popular. I run their cam, and will throw their heads on my car next year hopefully.

if you do a search in the dyno results section, you will see some pretty damn good results with the patriot LS6 heads. I know speed inc has most of their H/C packages with patriot.

I run the cam (bought new) and would run the heads if I found a good used set for cheap.

Love it. Are there "better" choices for the same money? Yep. Doesn't make me sorry at all. I did heavy research and looked at my budget and went with it. Even after all this time, I wouldn't change a thing. It runs and drives like stock, sounds like a beast, and feels real snappy. It's got the power right where I want it.

I would recommend you look at PRC heads and a Texas Speed cam for your combo.

Patriot seems to be the most budget friendly combos. The still take care of business. Although some will talk bad about them because they aren't the newest "flavor of the week"
