Headers I have a set of used pacesetter headers that i bought and i was going to put an ory on the car when i install them but i was going to ask if i should expect a big sound difference?
Catback or muffler? The headers will make your car louder, with certain Catbacks such as the Slp loudmouths they are way to loud and raspy for most peoples taste, kinda like a cutout. But yeah the headers will make it louder. If it's not that loud in the first place I doubt the headers will make it 'too loud' for ya
If I were you, cat back or muffler, I would sell it on craigslist and work a good sounding exhaust with your headers. Tsp sells true duels around 400 alot of people choose that. If it is the catback, you will prob be able to see it pretty quick, then get the exact setup you want without losing hardly any money

Performance wise it actually doesn't really matter. Cost wise a little more obviously. I guess it depends on passing inspections or not. I haven't had to yet so I don't worry too much about emissions. However, having to take it all off to pass would really suck.. Before you jump at true duels thou you can also do alot else. If u want to lower your car, clearance is going to be really bad and you will scrape everywhere.. My best advise would be to read all the options on here before you decide. Don't just take my or someone else's advise but look at everything there is. Personaly, what I'm gunna end up doing probably is in the 'turndown' thread below. Headers to a y pipe to a bullet type muffler to a dump. Cheap, simple, sounds good, clearance, ect. I still don't know I really like duels

Verdad Gallardo I'm fixing to tear apart my old exhaust and put new btw, mine sucks and I hate it. Also shops can fab up duels too so maybe go talk to some local guys and price them out real quick. I'm going to be doing that too. Since you have the LTs any free flowing exhaust (not flowmaster lol) is gunna be fine really just sound preference.

Bingo! I'm wondering if a magnaflow bullet will be a little quieter and thus take out the wot rasp. Also, if it will be to loud being right under the car. Wish I could hear one in person first..
I have true duals with pacesetter headers, X pipe and Dynomax bullets. SCREAMS at WOT, pretty tame driving around town. Here's a video, but it really doesn't do it justice:
