V6 z28 450+ miles per tank "before recent troubles with o2s" now closer to 400.
Old z28 w/3.23 gears and a4. 375-390 mpt if it was babied.
I need to get the ws6 on a road trip to compare.
Also just descreened maf, did and did free ram air and degilled my stock lid on the v6 hoping to pick up 2 mpg..
For what it's worth I've seen dramatic increases with RP oil as compared with Dino oil

01 Z28 stock auto (as far as i know it's stock). 15mpg is about average for me with mostly suburban traffic (lots of traffic lights but overall avg mph is probably 30'ish.). I have a heavy foot so take what you will from that.
I have yet to give it a decent highway trip to see what cruising mpg is.

Good one. " 11-27 depending on how much fun I am having "
nascarnate wins the best answer of the Post.
Its Chevy Muscle Man... it ain't no fricken Prius Hybrid.
I hit 250 to 275 per Tank and mash on 'er every chance I get.
Everyone has an opinion - here's mine. I hit the trip meter every fill -up. When u fuel, fill it up. Don't get $ 10.00 worth unless your budget is that tight, and if it is, maybe u should get a hybrid.
Use the same fuel everytime. Out West, I have had the best luck with Shell fuel. BP is good but we don't have it here.Back east, Marathon is Top Rated... Do some comparisons and check out the recent consumer reports or google for reviews.
Use 93 Octane EVERYTIME. Don't believe the hype, you will get at least 25 more miles / tank and your engine will love you for it. Throw some Lucas Octane Boost in every once in a while, keep the oil clean ( synthetic preferably ) and check your air filter and tire pressure frequently.
Have a good day and mash on 'er every chance you get.

[QUOTE=TheBlueKnight;14361140][QUOTE=Ruthless909;14357394]Makes me kinda miss my 07 Civic SI
Yea, our 07' Civic SI routinely gets 41mpg if you don't go faster than 70mph on the hwy.
My Full bolt on Trans Am (minus UD Pulley)/ and Tune gets 31mpg on the hwy. Went about 204 miles with 6.5 gallons. And that's not going faster than 70mph as well. Niiice FA5!
Stock?

I'm haveing the same problem, I recently filled my up and ran it to empty I got exactly 190 miles. I have to fill her up to day But it usely takes 13 gallons to fill up so I average 14.6 miles a gallon all city driving shifting at 2200 rpm. I would love to get 240-250 per tank I wounded if my pump assembly is bad. Mods are intake, lid& bellow, exhaust, full suspension, I'm about to swap in a 228R cam and I have heard people getting really shitty gas mileage I hope that's not the cause with me

In my last T/A (bone stock M6 with a flowmaster) mixed 50/50 city/hwy i would always crack 300 mpt so that was roughly 20mpg and kept me happy.
In my current T/A (bolt on's and 4.10s)
All city 190 mpt
All highway i've gotten 25+mpg so my mpt was 360+ (2k rpm about 80mph with gears)
Mixed hwy/city ill get around 270mpt
Hope you start seeing better numbers

i've got a 99 M6 with 97k on the clock. mods are :
-flowtech longtubes
-ORY
-SLP loudmouth cat-back
-SLP cold air package
did an 1100 mile road trip about a month back and got anywhere from 295-335 miles to a tank when the check gauge light came on (there would be about 4 gal left when the light came on)
