Not sure if this has been done yet, but I see a lot of people asking about MPG vs. their mods. so I thought it'd be a cool idea to share. What kind of MPG are you getting with your car as a DD

I'm getting 19mpg city. I haven't done any hwy since cam install my car is a 6spd 3.90 gear ratio I typically shift around 2200 rpms. Its 346 cubic inches with stock LS6 manifold and stock tire size. Its on a rich nitrous tune also.

I am getting about 17-18 city and 20mpg mixed, 25/26 mpg all highway.

mods: stock with SLP lid, SLP dual/dual and CMS tuned. However, mine is a vert, so I have about 250lb extra weight, plus another 50lb of sub woofer.

Thanks for all the replies, but it would be easier and neater if you just use my format in post one... Just cut and past it and fill in the info

I think the format is a little hard to follow. For exapmle, shift points are going to be way different for people with automatics. My trans shifts at different speeds all the time depending on what gear I'm in and the load I'm putting on it. FWHP and RWHP seem a little redundant, if you know one you can figure the other and most people only know RWHP for certain.

Weight would be another big factor to consider. A4000lbs Camaro is going to get worse gas milage than a 3100 Camaro tin can with the same drivetrain.

i have seen as high as 26.64 mpg highway, but only when i was able to cruise at about 80. when i had to maintain 65-70, it dropped to about 23.5. i think lower gears would help MPG at 65-70, but probably not at 80. my motor also only has about 4,500 miles on it at this point. mods in sig.
