Default Best and quickest way to raise a lowered car

Hey guys,

I know how to raise the car and know where the left points are but now I'm lowered on Stranos and its a PITA to raise the car. My floor jack is a 3 ton and its definietely not "low profile". It won't fit far enough under the sides of the car to reach a frame rail and the rear end is too low when its on the ground for the jack to fit under it. I have been using the spare tire jack to get the car up a little, so I can clear the body with the floor jack, then I continue lifting with the floor jack. There has to be an easier/quicker way?? I also tried driving on wood (2x4's) and my rear tires were just spinning. I didn't want to give it too much gas, as I don't want to have the car in the living room

You should be able to drive up onto something, you could either buy some ramps or make your own. As for getting up onto some 2x4s, just get a little momentum and roll on, it will be a lot harder if you try from a standstill.

Buy a low profile jack. Everyone who owns a lower fbody or Corvette needs one.

Cut the end of the 2x4 down at an angle and you'll roll right up on"em any circular saw should have a adjustment to do this

Buy ramps, buy 2x4s, place 2x4s infront of tires, roll up on those, then push ramps to tires, roll onto those... always works for me.

Although my car is stock height so I don't have any issue using a standard floor jack, I bought a pair of Rhino ramps, especially since they keep the center of the car open for easy oil changes.
