Default Valve Train Noise

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its starting to become annoying!!! I have a 99 SS with a built Motor H/C/I,
Cam specs are 228/232 @600 Lift @114Lobe..Has around 11.1 to 11.3 to 1 Comp. also a 6 speed ...The problem is Valve train seems to be a Bit loud for the normal LS1 noise...Car runs really Strong and Fast but its becoming to annoying..
Please help out with some info Please...

Thanks
Sean

LS motors with larger cams will have some valvetrain noise, it's inevitable. If the lifters are in good shape and pushrod size has been correctly selected it should be kept to a minimum.

Would sound like a sewing maching while it was running. You can do a search on how to measure push rod lengths aswell. GL
