Default What to do with cutout when car is parked?

I'm getting it installed soon. Do I leave it open or closed when the car is parked?

I would say if you are parking it for a few hours or a day... leave it whatever way you want. But something long, a week or month or more... like over the winter... close it up. The only reason I say that is I have had a mouse get in mine and store nuts.

Mice don't mind the stock cam lope, its when you start getting around a 224-228 cam and above that it irritates them.

Whichever u do, just keep the butterfly lubed and open/close it occasionally or it will freeze up from exhaust and other gunk! I know from experiance! Burned up the motor and had to go back to manual with wingnuts......fail!

What would you use for lube on a cutout?

not sure what would be best, i no longer have a cutout cause switched exhaust, but as mentioned before brake cleaner would prob work. even wd40 would be better than nothing.
