It is the wire mod.. I do it on all the cars I own. Extremely easy and huge upgrade for under hood appearance.

All are extremely easy to do.. I do my own thing on it, not sure exactly what these write ups entail but they will get the job done.

Wire mod-
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...utta-luck.html

TCS/cruise relocation- Instead of soldering, I just spliced for the TCS. If you don't care for TCS just leave it unplugged and it will be off 24/7.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...tion-pics.html

Hood latch-
It is essentially the same as the wire mod. There is already a hole for it, just drill it with a drill bit a bit larger, it comes out where the fuses are.

I also have my fuses relocated on my car... But there are staying where they are.

Little update:

Bought a used complete 3.42 rear end from a manual car as well as an aluminum drive shaft.
Bad news, its in FL! LOL
We aren't going back down until mid-late Feb. so I will pick it up then while we are down and install it when we get back. After we install the rear we will already have full exhaust on it. At that time we *might get a base tune on it. Depends on how far away a cam swap is looking.

Stranos will be here this week, buying new shocks and then they will be installed... Friday we are ordering the grill. Might get the 69Z28 emblem for it then, I don't know what she is going to do.
The new HID replacement ballast should be here tomorrow as well.

Hell yes it will! We drove it for about an hour today and it settled some more since the pics so it looks a bit better. The Stranos are REALLY going to help out though!

We have our eye on two different sets of stainless QTPs in great shape.. Just got to hurry and get some money up before they sell.
At that time every bit of that will come out. Air pump is already gone.

Nobody on here does... Everybody that sees it in person likes it.

The only part being changed on the body kit is the front and spoiler, we both really like the sides and rear (especially after it gets lowered). Spoiler will be an SS and the front will either be normal or a 6LE splitter.

UPDATE: After talking with Sam Strano we decided to match his springs with a set of Bilsteins! Should have those ordered next week. Lowering will be held off another week or so until those come in but it will be worth it.

I think the body kit looks good on this car but hated it on my car so took it off (weird). How do you plan on fixing the holes that the spoiler makes?? I wanna put an ss spoiler on mine too.

Only one correct option, fill and paint.

And we agree, looks pretty good!

UPDATE: Springs came in today. They look great and were shipped fast!

Tomorrows to do list: Well.. I have been trying to talk to Sam Strano about the Bilstein setup but the responses are limited and I haven't heard anything for a few days.
I didn't want to go this route but I guess for now we are going to put stock shocks on the front for now and then later upgrade to the Bilstein setup.
Springs will go on tomorrow along with replacing the front shocks.

Auto headlight defeat.. So she has full control over the lights.

Cutting off the exhaust at the rear axle. The tips are crooked and look like **** along with it being stupid quiet. It will look better and sound decent while being louder. Exhaust will be ordered in about two weeks anyway.

Relay harness for the HIDs. Having some problems getting both lows coming on.

I'm sure we will find something else to fiddle with but those are the things that will for sure be done tomorrow.

We were.. Actually looking for a set of 17X9.5 or 18X9.5 C5 thin spokes for the rear before we buy tires.

Would probably rather want 17x9.5.

I personally prefer 17's. 18's leave too much brake gap IMO, especially on the rear.

With these rims especially. It shows EVERYTHING even with the 17". I also don't like staggered 18" rear and 17" front on Fbody's.
