Looks good but I would get rid of the " fad2blk" thing, other then that it looks great.

You know a lot of people like you that have the MONEY to start with an LS1 always have that to say. Of course that is your opinion, but I could not afford the LS1 to start with, or the insurance. So I paid less, and did this 2 years later which in the long run still cost less the LS1 would have in the first place.

Thanks for your opinion anyhow

very cool! Good job on the swap. Did you buy a donor car to get all the parts for the swap?

No, I ordered everything I could from transamcreationsusa.com, and got the misc parts I needed when the time came.

How hard was it to change the 6 out of that thing and drop the LS1 in it.
Did you have to modify anything?

I actually had a sponsor of the car do most of the work, but all that is needed is the steering rack, engine cradle, radiator, intank fuel pump, and a couple other small things. Not much modifying was done since it was a 98 to 98 swap. They are very similiar including all the wiring. All that just plugged together.

I was just joking. Sorry if I got you mad.

BTW, did you neglect to tell the insurance company, if you know what I mean?

If you wreck it they might not cover you.

They CAN drop you if a competent agent looks over your car.

Car looks awesome though, I love the rims + graphics on black.

What transmission?

Done any mods yet? Plan on it?

I talked to my agent, and actually told her what I did. She said they go off of the VIN # no matter what, so if something were to happen it would still be covered. However, if I were to get smashed in the front end and mess up the actual engine then basic coverage would not cover that.

It's the T56, and the only mods done so far is the MTI clear lid you see, Pro 5.0 shifter, NGK plugs, MSD wires, and fast toys ram air. I am looking to get either flowtech or hooker headers here shortly (LT's) and upgrade the exhaust. I had upgraded the v6 exhaust before doing the swap, so it all worked together when the swap was done, but it's kinda quite. I like it that way for now (sleeper), but will change it after awhile

Not sure what other mods after that though. Do you have suggestions?

Get some rearend gears ASAP. They'll wake up your low end like you wouldn't believe. I recommend 3:73's if its a daily driver, but I'm a little partial.
