Default Mac cat back exhaust question

Hey guys, i have looked all over for a mac cat back exhaust clip and for the life of me cant find one. Does anyone know how they sound, and how they perform vs. a slp lm? Right now my car has a slowmaster cat back on it, and i want something a little louder/aggressive, and performs better cause i saw on here that the slowmaster cat back is horrible for our cars. Thanks!

Loudmouth with stock manifolds and cats resonats bad in the cab. once i added long tubes it smoothened out the pulses and there wasn't as much reverberation in the cab. not to hijack i know this is about MAC catback just saying..

I had a MAC catback on my 98 when i first bought it. it was quiet...i mean quiet. to me it was a knock off of the flowmaster. it had been on the car for 4 years and only went 20k miles and it was rotten as ****. muffler falling apart inside, rusting etc...

I would never own another MAC catback again.

too much rasp and redneck truck sound...if your dead set on the LM, get either a LM2 or replace the LM1 resonator with a magnaflow muffler or similar.

Do the Borlamouth The loudmouth catback with a Borla muffler (XR1 isn't it)? Sounds awesome.. just be careful the more you do to your car the more incredibly obnoxiously loud it's going to get. Once you've got full bolt ons and LT headers you're pretty much at the limit where you might start hating it.

How about the dynomax bullet ultraflo system? Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I own an 01 Camaro with a MAC catback on it. It is not a bad catback I have not had any problems with mine except the tips they sent with it. I thought they quieted down a bit I took them off and it seemed to get a little bit louder then I bought a set of 5 inch tips and it got louder to my liking. I am waiting to see how much louder it gets when I put my off-road Y-pipe on it here in a few weeks. I can say I might be looking into the TSP Rumbler or the slp lm1 if it is not loud enough after the Y-pipe. hope you get something good
