I use Brisk GOR17LGS Plugs and Granatelli 0 Ohm Wires, but if I were on a budget, I'd look at the NGK TR-55 Plugs /MSD Wire combo, great for the budget!
EDIT:
Just saw you went with NGK/MSD, Great combo!

I cant believe this thread has gone 2 pages and FIRECORE50 wires have not been mentioned.
From NASCAR to Pro Stock these wires WORK in the real world, not hype...
They have a pre-made LS kit ready to go...

Granatelli says his wires are used in nascar and other professional motorsports but they don't pay for advertising on their cars or somthing of those effects.
Heard great things about FIRECORE though, and was my next choice if I didn't go granatelli. I just didn't want MSD.. Trying to stand out.

Somebody else makes the product and it's packaged for another name and thats about 98%+ for the Granatelli products. Granatelli= STP= Snake oil
But increasing spark energy potential to the plug is helpful to a more efficient cylinder firing event but only to a point. And once you reach a point where it isn't, today's car detect misfire rates and let you know about it pretty quick.
If your spark plug can produce a sufficient arc with the existing factory designed equipment, then the upgrades to wiring or coil are not needed which brings us back to the ability today to detect misfires.
Were not racing here for a living, we do not see continuous high rpm running where one would/could have these type problems.
Some resistance is also need to contain EMI spikes with the use of PCM's today. Also resistance of some degree is there to extend/lengthen the "arc-duration" after the initial "arc" is established.
