Default motor mount bolts

I picked up some energy suspension motor mounts and they don't come with bolts just zip ties. What size bolts/nylon nuts do you guys typically use for the clamshells?

I used 1/4 - 20, grade 8 bolts with lock nuts on my clamshells. I didn't like the zip tie idea.

Gotcha, I know the last time I did these I had used 4 on each (but looks like 2 per mount should be good), but I think they came with the mounts. This was 4-5 years ago though so I don't remember that part very well...Just that it was a pain to install/line up. I'm getting a 13mm gear wrench this time. Since I bought my 10mm 4-5 years ago it's been the best tool ever for these cars.

I used all 4 holes. The bolts were 3/4" - 1" long, its been a while since ive looked at them. Single's 2 bolt is plenty strong as well.

the bolts in the shells only holds the clam together........once they are bolted to the block the block bolts will hold the clam together
