Might be a stupid question
I was looking into a tsp 100mm maf and a ftp 104mm lid for my 02 camaro z28. For induction it just has the stock tb and ls6 intake. Ok, first off will this hurt my flow cuz of the stock tb and intake? In the future I want to go with a fast 102/102 but cant afford it yet. My current mods are...torquer 2 cam, 5.3 ported heads, ls6 intake, ls7 lifters, hardened push rods, .650 prc double valve springs, slp cai and lid, blackwing air filter, pacesetter lts, tsp true dual x pipe to dumped bullets, hp tune. Im also getting ready to put in an ls2 timing chain, slp 160 thermo, slp ported oil pump, asp underdrive pulley, and going to pull out all a/c stuff. Let me know what you all think, thanks.

I've got a 104/100/102/102.... Works perfectly... Now you can make it fit with the stock tb if you want, but you're gunna have to retune it when you put the 100MAF on it, and when you put the 102/102 on it.... so Get the 104/100MAF and save for the 102/102 and put it all on at the same time, and retune it once.

Ya I can get it retuned any time but once I'm done with all my mods I'm going to get it dyno. Would it be ok to get the 100/104 and run it like that till I get my fast? As long as I tune it?
anybody else? also would it fit properly if i just got the 100mm maf and 104mm ftp lid with the sotck tb and ls6 intake?

You are better off spending your money elsewhere, no need to change the MAF until you start making over 450 RWHP roughly. If you have more mods in plan wait for that to be the last one then. You should get it tuned right after a MAF sensor gets swapped so your engine doesn't suffocate itself or toss more air in than required. The proper air to fuel ratio is key in maximizing power, if that is thrown off you could be running with less power using a different, untuned MAF fwiw.
