you will need yellow springs and a cam swap kit.check TSP for cams and gaskets and a balancer bolt.

Default Looking for a ls6/zo6 camshaft

Preparing for a budget 5.3 project in need of a cam. I heard that ls6 cams are great on 5.3's and arent pricey at all (100-150) I passed up on one on ebay thinking it would still be there and I cant find anymore no one for that price everything is brand new. If anyone has a ls6/z06 camshaft for sale let me know.

Look at the real specs and decide whether you want
to sink a bunch of effort into minimal improvement.
I've gotten barely used, much better cams for less.

for $300 u can get a comp can energy cam for your 5.3 and us all the stock parts, it will give u more power gains then the LS6 cam... cause even if u put the cam in your 5.3 with out the 243 heads, ur not going to really feel the full potential of the cam. you'd be better off just using the stock 2001-2002 LS1 WS6/SS cam... they go cheap (like $100-$150) and will give u the most bang for ur buck if your just looking for a little extra power.

Do you have a P/N for the Comp cam?
