Default Did a Few Free MODS

I debaffled the Scoops a couple of weeks ago, and thought i go for as many free mods as i can think of, hoping to see some result In combination...

So last night after work, I made a pit stop at some of our local Stores and got a Barb Fitting, Filter Breather, and a Rubber coupling. All for around 16 bucks

The aftermath...

Bellow...

There was a coupling where the breather sits now, and just removed it. The hose tied into the Lid... You can see the hole with gromet that still needs to be sealed at the lid.

If you are reffering to the TB bump mod, Not planing on doing so... Going for a pNp TB from ebay.

Thanks!
I was thinking about repainting the lid and get some sick Firebird on it, Even decal then clear coat it.
As far as mods, I have all the ones in my sig, plus all the free mods Ive done lately, plus some painting like the inner scoops, front lower scrape bumper lid and Ram air duct i removed when installing my trans cooler.
I will be ordering my PnP TB tho, And Major mods... My Built tranny, with 3800Stall being done with in the next 2 weeks! I hope to go low 12's High 11's. Buying some tires off a friend

Yes!!! Even tho my tranny is bad and slips, I can still pull on 1'st and parts of 2nd... Then it just revs out.

Throttle response!
After debaffling hood, lid, lower air box cut out, below, TB Bypass. It made a noticible difference, The air breather Was more of a cosmetic thing, but still.

Im sure horse power wise, id be lucky to get 5-8 hp, But im happy with the TB response.
Lets not forget, all for around 16 bucks...

How about the free ram air mod? I didn't see that one listed. I think it's the best free mod off all of them.

Well thats pretty much the inside of the air box where the filter sits... You cut it to the size to the filter, And the debaffling, drill out all the pop rivets under the scoops and break them free. They are also factory taped, so u may struggle a bit.

I'll try to find the vid.

Here is the Debaffling of the scoops VID

Has anyone else done some free mods? if so and more or less what i did, Let me know if you have a confirmed Hp numbers.

A guess would also be welcome...

Nice. Debaffling will definitely lower your IATs and give a little something at speed.

Where did you get the bellow and what size is it?

Home depot!!! Its a fenco 3inch plumbing rubber coupling. You are gona have to do some trimming tho.
not hard at all, just leave it inside engine bay so it heats up for a while, more flexible.

I feel stupid for not knowing that acronym... Of course it should lower the temp.
Atleast thats the whole idea behind it...

Good news...

In my quest for free mods, i removed the Air duct that divides the radiator/condenser from the intake, thinking it would be beneficial. When i removed it, i pretty much yanked it out, then put it away.
i then learned that you actually need it to keep engine heat from the intake, and it helps the radiator in the cooling process.

Well was bumed out thinking i had tore it up, and to my surprise its still in good shape, with minor dings and a small dent/hole.
I repainted it, and then reinstalled it. looks cleaner, but sad i cant see my newly installed trans cooler anymore.

Problem is they dont do anything. Cmon, a breather on the AIR hose? Why?? Just bored or what I dont get it. The silencer delete I get, and even that wont net much power, just makes the intake sound more throaty. Sorry to be a negative nancy, but boredom is how nice cars get hacked up.
