Got to 13X mph on the highway one day when a stock V6 Dodge Charger got a little pushy (didnt have to do 130+ he gave up @ 100ish) I think i had the t-tops off...

Last edited by blknSS; 04-15-2012 at 04:13 PM. Reason: It was more around high 90s when he gave up.

When I brought my TA home from buying in Texas last summer, I found a caravan (not the minivan) doing about 100 in Arkansas. That was about as fast as I would go as the front end started getting squirley. we have the midwest F-body event in a couple weeks at Road America here in WI and I'm seriously having second thoughts untill I get rid of that stock suspension....

I'm so jealous of those who have had a chance to experience 150+ in these cars. There simply isn't a clean stretch of road here where that would be practical (as practical as 150+ can really be). Always cars on the road even late so I doubt I'll ever see it.

At least 140+ has been done safely on the back stretch at Road Atlanta!

With just the limiter removed the '01-'02's are good for 168 or so but it will take 6 miles or more to get to that speed.

Fastest I have been (and it was at an open road race, perfectly legal. Best part was blowing by a state cop at 165+ and he just waved.)

Standing mile I believe a stock fbody is good for 150, your saying it takes 5 miles to go 18 more mph? I personally hit the limiter stock in less than a mile space (starting at 65mph)...can't believe it would take that much space.
