After trimming the inside and struggling to get it on the tb, I realized there was no way I could possibly squeeze it onto my ram air intake. Anyone have a picture of an installed one?

Here's a pic under the hood of my Z28. What kind of air lid do you have? I took mine and put it in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees and it slipped on really easy.

I Had the same problem with my slp lid not getting onto my MAF. It seems that heating these components up helps alot, as it allows the plastic to expand.

I had to hack the **** out of mine and wasn't happy with the way it fit.

Unless you have solid or poly motor mounts it will twist free under hard acceleration. I remember back when I used them after every pass at the drag strip kick down on the highway the motor would twist and pop it out of the air lid. the stock mounts let the motor move around too much.

I don't like it. It distorts the lid too much making it not seat as well.
