I believe they are the new design. The Y pipe below, is also SLP. All has around 6k miles on them.

yea thats the new design for sure. the old design had about an extra 6" of tubing per primary and just caused clutter.. those arent as bad as the old ones... heres a picture of the headers on my car compared to MAC mid lengths. i got mine in chrome for around 350 shipped with a y pipe.

Not too bad after all right, some ppl are still stuck with the idea that slp's are no good, because of the previous design.

Use factory MLS gaskets. You could probably reuse your originals if they are in good enough condition.

I currently have some FELPRO gaskets, I put those on when i installed my shorty headers.

I've had no issues with felpro. Just want some reviews on Mr gasket, I can get them for free.

late reply but everyone is right... if you dont have any factory gaskets go get some... the others will eventually blow out and leak... the only gaskets on our cars that arent really reusable are the head gaskets... everything else OEM is far better

would be nice to get numbers from tuning the same way that it was previously dyno'd so theres not any differences in the comparison.. but im not familiar with autos so im not sure...

Default short poor quality clip

Im completely exhausted from installing the LT's and ORY... Used jack and stands, Not FUN!!!

The sound is very aggresive and it feels like a totaly different ride from the shorty's and stock exh.

I love it!!!...

Default Just dont laugh at my way of making comparison...

I tried taking a pic of my dyno sheets pre and post LT's and y pipe, but they just dont come out right, and its difficult to understand in pieces...

So i went ahead and just used the new and old HP numbers at different RPM's, to make the comparison between the two.

The one that says OLD hp Is with the shorty headers, and the New is with LT's and ORY, Both made by SLP.

I have a 3800 vigilante, so the numbers seem low... Unlocked converter!!!

ENJOY!
