We can get you a short block with king bearings new pistons, balanced and blueprinted 5.7 for $1619. Its not much more than a junkyard block and you get something you will not have to worry about. The cost of an install can add up when you have to go through 3 junkyard blocks to find one good one. Give us a call and we can find something that will fit your budget.

A Monte Carlo or GTP will be a ton of work to fit an LS engine into. Those L67 engines are so potent with a turbo you can make TONS of power. It wouldn't be worth the money to swap in an LS1. You would be better to spend the money going RWD with a 6 speed and making 300-600 WHP with a turbo.
