Default worth it

so i got a 2002 z28 and my question is theres a local shop that does custom exhausts for dirt cheap the problem is i have the stock headers. my question is should i do the exhaust first bescause i still have the stock single pipe exhaust with a muffler delete(bought it that way) or should i wait till i get headers. just so you know the price my neighbor has a 5.0 fox body mustang that was just headers for awhile found the shop and they fabricated an H-Pipe and half dump dual exhaust and custom hangers for 150.00. Any input would be great. thanks alot

I have run the factory Cat Back on my last 3 cars and ran 11's but they all had headers w/ high flow cats and just bolt-on's.

IMO, wait til you get the headers and do it right the first time. That $150 gets you headers that much sooner.
