Default smooth bellow

so i just bought an ebay smooth bellow

looks exactly the same as SLP feels like i lost hp compared to the stock accordian. is this possible?

probably no loss but definitely no gains from it.

And people wonder why im cheap and wont pay more the 30 bucks for a used slp bellow.


And. Theres no way you lost power unless you didnt get everything snug.




UNLESS its sucking flat.. Work the throttle cable and watch the bellow and make sure it doesnt suck in..

hmm thanks for that ill have to check it shouldnt be tho when i was manuvering it onto the tb it didnt even squish

Heat can weaken cheap rubber or at the very least soften it... So id get the engine warm first.

I doubt it caused a power lose. Most likely it's something you inadvertently did, or didn't do during the install(dust/dirt on MAFS, lose clamp/s, sensor/s not fully plugged in).

haha ya check the MAF sensor plug.. if you didnt put it in all the way the car will go into LIMP mode and have hardly any power lol

Ive never seen one go into limp mode......

sorry for wasting yalls time just paranoid about wasting $35 baalic besides looks you get a better sound when you gas it and the tcs button the car reacts the same way powerwise all the time. gains wise nothing noticable.
