worth it?
i recently purchased a 2000 z28 85000 miles completly stock at the moment when i bought the car it had an axle bearing out that he had been driving on for a year and a half so i purchased a stock rear end out of a 98 manual am still planning on changing bearings but this way i have better gears and posi unit i also purchased a set of pacesetter long tube armor coated new for cheap i plan on changing whole exhaust later and doing an ssra intake and lid now to my question i know a guy that is selling a predator tuner for $100 was wondering if it was worth it i do not think it is an slp one just a regular one its my understanding that i can chenge my gear ratio to correct my speedometer after the rear swap if thats true im assuming its worth it but thought id try to get some feedback thanks

I wouldn't mess with it, but I will say they seem alright for adjusting things such as your rev limiter, fans, shift firmness, etc., etc. You might see a small power gain from it, but it's still no custom tune, I don't like the handhelds personally.

I know a custom tune is better but I'm planning on doing more to it later so dont wanna waste my money now I'm just wondering if it would be good to use for now especially to correct my speedo or if there is a better way
