Default Not running smooth at wot

Ok
I have a 2000 trans am m6 with borla exhaust. Only had the car for about 2 months. The problem is the engine does not sound smooth at 3/4 or wide open throttle(bring the rpms up quick). I can slowly bring the car up in rpms and it sounds great and very smooth. There is no computers codes. It sounds to me like the car is a little out of tune. Just replaced the plug wires, new ls1 lid, cleaned the throttle body, and had the dealer clean the injectors. Also when the battery was unhooked for a long time the car did the relearn at idle. The car seemed to run better for a few miles and then started to go back to running rough. I had two 99 corvettes this is what I am comparing the trans am to for engine performance. Yes I do know the trans am has less power but it just is not as smooth sounding as was the vetts.
Help

Actually, the trans am doesn't have less power unless you modded the vettes more. Vettes weigh less however, but in the same respect, dyno lower.

It take a long time for our computers to learn everything. Maybe it hasn't set the WOT parameters yet.

Hmm
I replaced the plugs, wires, and a new air lid to try to get the car to run better. I guess I am not happy with the car.

As for trans am and corvettes having the same power, The f body cars have a smaller cam and from owning a vette a vette is a lot quiker then a fbody in every day street driving. Quarter mile times are about the same(from what I have readed in posts)

Thanks for all the info!

WOT params are not learned (except for spark table
in the face of excess knock). However closed-loop
learning in the presence of problems can affect WOT.
Specifically a natural-lean (like from an unnatural
MAF miscalibration or such) requiring positive trimming
puts positive fuel adders onto WOT as well.

Communication is the key to a happy relationship.
You need to listen to her bitching and help her get
over it. Getting a logging capability is the first step
in understanding bitch-speak (no offense to the
ladies).

I'd try a new fuel filter. Won't cost you much and
definitly can't hurt, just a maintenence item.
MAF maybe? Have you messed with it.

Do the RPMs rise smoothly? Think its the clutch?

Yes I have replaced the filter. Never touched the MAF. The rpms are real smooth if I step on the gas slowly. If I step on the gas fast is when the engine sounds rough.
Not sure on the clutch but it does feal good.
