Whats the best motor oil?
Ive got a 98z28 A4 with 46000 mi on it. What motor oil do you guys reccomend? Ive heard that Royal Purple makes good oils, do they make a motor oil. Should I go synthetic or non-snythetic?

If you're going to put Royal Purple in your LS1, I highly recommend their Racing 41. It's much better than their regular 5w30 and 10w30 street oils.

Here's some links from the LS1Tech search engine on that frequently asked question:

By the way I've been using Neo Synthetic oil, in 0w-5 since my car was new in 99'. I absolutely love their stuff.

Not a big deal since it's a lease but I don't think I will use the 5W-30 Royal Purple even in my daily drivers any longer.
