I've pretty much just seen it as cleaning up the engine bay. I'm sure someone can chime in more though.

!EGR= No more EGR or EGR removed
!CAGS= CAGS bypassed
!AIR= No more Air pump

Basically, anything with a ! in front means removed or non functional I think.

Yes you can order those headers, but if you're worried about passing emissions, you'll either need to forget about passing or get LS1edit

Is the only thing you can do to the EGR chopping it like at InstallUniversity? Is there more things you can do? Also, is there a write up for !AIR? I havent found any...

What are you looking to do? The Air Injection Regulator (AIR) does nothing more than inject fresh air into the exhaust streams during startup and warmup in order to diffuse the fuel-enrichened exhaust gases, thereby diluting the tailpipe emissions. EPA-mandated, they are used to help CA-bound cars pass the stricter emissions laws there and elsewhere. Removing it won't affect performance, but it'll clean up the engine bay and lighten the front end by about 15 pounds.

i did the !EGR/!AIR when i installed my egr-less ls6 intake. it cleans up your engine bay nicely, makes changing your spark plugs a hell of a lot easier. also you drop the 15 pounds on the front left side when you take the AIR pump out. the whole process takes about 20 minutes. make sure you have the right sockets(10mm?), an extension or two, and a nice universal swivel socket. its a cinch.

other than cats, the emissions equiptment doesnt really hurt performance but most people like the weight saving and more open engine bay that comes from doing them.
and as was said before: anything with a ! in front of it means removed/bypassed part or system.

Default Blockoff Plates

I ordered my blockoff plates from Pace. They were $19.95 and were not very well made, but, they came with new gaskets. My problem is that I dyno'd and had my tuner turn all that stuff off and found that the homemade blockoff plates were leaking really bad. Not sure how much it effected my dyno results, but, it dyno'd low numbers and it could not have helped the A/F. Order blockoff plates w/gaskets and be done with it.

Can anyone tell me where to buy a blockoff for the Manifold for an EGR removal? I have been looking for some time.
