Looking at 2000 and 2001 LS1 F bodies
#21
Dam i must be lucky then because ive seen basically zero price difference between z28-ss-formula-ws6 in my area. I think FL is so saturated with f bodies the buyers and sellers of the cars understand the difference is basically cosmetics and will have to sell their ss/ws6 for the price that everyone else would sell a z28/formula in order to get the car to move.

Hey I would like to thank all you guys for responding. The info is really helpfull.
I am still looking for a 98 to 2002 f body. Just missed out on a 2000 Z28 with a swapped in 6.0 and beefed up tranny and rear end. It was all done right too....1st guy there bought it....lol. Oh well, my search continues.....although now I am looking mainly for 98 to 2000 as there seems to be a big jump in price up to the 2001/02's in my area.
Again, thanks for all the advice AND for setting me straight on the 1998's.

For all the above reasons listed mostly by RPMWS6, I feel much better about my purchasing my 98 that was built pre 05/98, a few times I thought dam shuda got a 01 for the famed ls6 intake. but the bubbling, and all that above makes me happy with mine. still can't go wrong with any of these years though.
