Default bfg comp t/a or headers or vig 3200 multi disc

At this point i can do one of the mods above. Which would benifit me more?

I know with the headers i would pick up a lot but would have not traction but i may be able to run them down.

I really need new tires considering i have the worst made for traction (gy rsa's). But would this give me as big of a gain as the headers?

Also i know a stall is a big improvement but w/o tires would it really do anything for me?

Within the next few days i will be adding one of these to my car so any help would be appreciated.

I would say tires, but I see you have shown some interest in that Vig 3200 in the for sale forum. That's a pretty darn good price, IMO. The convertor will help up top, as well, not just from a dig, so keep that in mind. The LTs are pretty much mid-top gainers, and some actually complain about a loss of torque down low, so again, your tires may be ok with them. I'd say convertor first, then tires, then LTs. Again, just my opinion.

I vote for the stall. Install isn't too bad, but you should try and find someone from the board in your area to help you out, or read some of the writeup's out there to see if you can handle it.

This seems to be a no brainer. If i install a tranny cooler should my tranny last just as long or will the converter considerable shorten its lifespan?

I watched them install one on hp tv and it looked like basic stuff but i am going to look at some write ups as u suggested.

1. go with the converter, remove your TQ mgmt, GET A TRANNY COOLER
2. Now that you have the converter, you are going to have traction problems. You have all the power in the world, but it does absolutly no good if you cant hook up
3. Headers

Anytime you put more stress on anything its going to wear out quicker. Accept that fact now. If you go with a converter though, absolutely get a tranny cooler. It will help offset some of the lifespan loss. Converter is one of the biggest speed upgrades you can get. It will shave about 4-5 tenths off your 1/4 mile. Headers will shave off 2-3 tenths or so. Drag radials will help you pick up a tenth or more also - depends on how bad your wheelspin is and how good a driver you are. Racing from a roll obviously tires arent as big of a factor. You can still race from a dig and be faster without the tires, you just have to launch a little more carefully when you have more HP because it's easier to break the tires loose is all. Hope that helps.
