Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone on here has tried a DNA air filter part # AFPN-019 and if so are they any good?

Yeah I found them on Amazon and they say it fits. The reason I'm asking is because its an non oiled filter

Wow, maybe I should buy that instead of re oiling my Spectre. RPMWS6 has me deathly afraid of cleaning that thing..... Lol

A flat rectangular type filter that fits in the stock air box

Oh lol .yes it came like a flat oem style. The only difference from the stock and the DNA. The DNA is thinner then the paper style but other then that .it fits perfect in my oem box

If you expect 200,000 miles, you will use a paper style air filter.

AFEpower makes some really nice paper-style (dry and wet designs) that filter as good or better than OEM and are very high quality filtration. Diesel engine filtration applications are center around cleanliness and combustion performance, since they also achieve high mileage with clean air as a requirement, and typically turbocharged.

Street cars, daily drivers, revolve around the filtration. You don't see it overnight, but over years.

So far its been holding up great and its doing its job. It's holding its shape unlike the paper filters I've used before.. Where they concave after a couple WOT.
