Might get better, more educated responses in the drag racing forum. For what it's worth (i'm NO expert here) I think your times are fine and your 60' looks good to me. My car (basically yours but on Nittos and headers/duals), on my first/only time to track (only made three runs) ran my times in sig. My very first run was 13.102, though my 60's were only low 2.0X's. My rear seat weighed ~22 pounds, which using the rule of thumb would only net you ~0.02 in the 1/4. (0.1 per 100 pounds) I assume you took out your spare tire/jack?

I did not, as of then, remove my AIR, EGR, washer fluid, or front sway bar. I plan to remove those and go back to practice and lower my times some more.

I think your mph is way low. I wonder if there is something else going on.. Perhaps strong headwind?

You are starting off good then seem to maybe getting stonewalled or something to have such a low mph. I would expect 5mph more..

are you stalling up or flashing your stall? there shouldnt be any spin whatso ever with your setup. are you getting any shudders or wheel hop?
does it bog at all?
take us through one of your runs in detail.. if you have the timeslip list out the times.. Stock gears?

No, just the one time to the dyno as well as only one trip to the track.

gears are 3.23 the track seems to be off 3-5mph for everyone over last year...

60ft 1.830
330 5.397
1/8 8.374
mph 83.02
1000 n/a
1/4 13.133@ 103.06

its liking the flash. dead hooks. on the stall it does about the same as flash but the flash has a better ET.

8.3 is good..Heck, that is good for a 12.9 at least!
Your MPH there is really low for that speed. I am with ya. .I think that maybe your tracks MPH is off by a bit.

When I had an auto I prefered to flash it.. Car felt to respond better to that.

Here are my LS1 times:
Mine-------- yours
60' - 2.104 --------1.83
330 - 5.693-------- 5.397
1/8 - 8.601-------- 8.374
MPH - 85.25-------- 83.02
1000 - 11.085-------- n/a
1/4 - 13.174-------- 13.133
MPH - 108.00--------103.06
Here my guess shows you should of been at least at a 12.8 since at the 1/8th you were .226 ahead..

hmmm.. I had an auto LT1 with 3.73s and few bolt ons doing 105/106 with less power than you..
I dont think the power is it.

How does your power look on a dyno graph? is it clean or jerky? Maybe your car is shifting too early or late?

I think you are running too much tire for your mods. That is probablly what is slowing you down. Use a set of nittos or bfgs and you will probablly see a better time/mph.

dont wanna buy another set right now... these were a freebie, and once the longtubes and x are on and the cam and valve train in a month or so... should be a good combo.... im sure it is a little to much tire... bogs a tiny bit after it hooks.... ill most likey be doin a bigger stall soon anyway.. 4400 TCI i believe

im also having my pcm done tomorrow. so hopefully it will help some.. ill have dyno charts and track results as long as it doesnt rain tomorrow... thanks for the info Guys!!!!

My car has always posted a low MPH also. I have always attributed it to the weight of the car (Convertible), 2:73 gears, and the stall converter hurting the top end a bit. My times and MPH is right on par with yours. Before I upgraded to headers and on a very cold day I ran 13.14@103.12 mph with 1.91 60' on street tires. Are you a "large" person? I'm 6'4 235 lbs. That may be contributing also, as I'm sure your car is lighter than mine.
