Default Help with live data scanning for 98 z28

I hooked up a live scan feed to my car and want to know what the readings should be. Monitor test for cat efficiently comes back as fail does the car need to be running for this test. How much pressure should be at the fuel rail. What should the maf reading be. Car is completey stock from what I know .only a k and n filter. And borla exhaust.

The catalyst efficiency is determined by comparing the pre-cat o2 sensor readings with the post-cat o2 sensor readings. I don't see how that could be done with the engine off.
From another thread, haven't cross referenced it yet: "MAF will fluctuate with throttle application. Should be under 10 grams per second at idle and over 275 grams per second at WOT."
Fuel pressure at the rail should be ~58psi (55-60psi is good).

I'll just add that you'll want to check fuel pressure under load as well, if you're trying to diagnose a potential power loss issue. Sometimes they show fine pressure under idle or a no load free rev, but will drop off noticeably under loaded WOT. 58-60psi would be great. If it starts dropping lower than that, the pump could be getting weak.

The cat inefficiency codes (P0420/P0430) don't tell you anything other than whether the cats are still functioning within a predetermined threshold (as seen by comparative O2 values mentioned above). This doesn't give any specific indication of the health of your tune or engine.

I' going to hook up live data and drive around. Just needed to know what I need to looking for. I should see something when it starts to hessitate. Scanner with live data makes it easier than driving with gauge taped to windshield. And a can view multiple params. At once. Thank you for the help.

I've done that when troubleshooting a stumble and confirming a dying fuel pump, lol. Like previously mentioned, you'll want to see the fuel pressure under load.

Yup thats stock/normal. ECU is set for ~22 advance stock. What are you using to scan the car?

Can tech 60479. Or something like that. The option for on board monitor test shows that egr feel test fail and egr off idle something. Fail. Monitors shoe evap incomplete. Don' rally know how to use it that just started messing with it.
