Just curious, 6 speed if thats matters. Thanks....

The "official" number is 340 lb-ft at 4000 RPM. However, it's pretty widely accepted that the HP/TQ ratings for these cars were underrated to keep a wider perceived performance margin between the LS1 F-Bodies and the Corvette.

All we can tell you for sure is what it's rated at and what they dyno at to the rear wheels. Not a whole lot of people dyno their stock LS1's on an engine dyno. Also, if you want to know flywheel HP, the tranny has absolutely nothing to do with it. All you can do to find that out is guestiamate based on what % of power you think the drivetrain steals. On M6's I think that you figure about 12%+ loss, and something like 15% on A4's. For our cars, anyway, I think thsoe work pretty well.

Average rule is 15% for a manual, 20% for an auto.

Nonetheless... they are making appx the advertised Vette flywheel hp. My 00 put down 319tq bone stock to the wheels. That's appx 367ftlbs at the crank.
