Default Hello! LS1 noise questions from a first time owner

Hello! First time LS1 owner here. I’ve owned 5 F bodies before, but never an LS1. Just curious, I have a bit of noise at idle, sounds like a lifter, seems to go away after about 2 minutes of driving. Is this any cause for concern or is this a regular LS1 thing? I tried to upload a video but it says it’s too big.
I have some piston slap when cold, which is nothing too concerning, just curious about this lifter how noise.

How is the oil pressure? Might lift the valve covers and see if any of the rockers have up/down play in them.

Oil pressure is good, no driveability issues, no SES light. Just a bit noisy

BUMP. I’d love some insight. Drove it over 500 kms today and it doesn’t miss a beat, just noisy when cold

I can definitely hear it. What oil are you using?

Mine makes similar sounds but it has an aftermarket cam. Not saying it's necessarily good or bad but you're probably going to get a lot of varying opinions on LS valve train noise.

I’m currently using GM Dexos 5w30. This morning it was noisy, but by the time I drove 5 minutes to work the noise is gone. I tried a bit of ATF in the oil to hopefully flush the lifters. No stumble, no SES, so I’m thinking maybe it’s just one of the quirks of my 20 year old car. And it’s usually only the first start of the day. When I start it to go home at the end of the day it’s silent
