Default Which will net me the best gains?

O.K., I'm down to the wire and want to either do gears or headers. Which of the two will net me the most gains? I'm leaning towards gears, but it seems that traditional thinking does not necessarily apply to our cars. After all I am new to the whole fuel injection, computer control thing!

Definately headers. Once you start helping the car breathe, the better it performs.

I felt a difference right away after having my FLP Longtube Headers put on. They rock! Top end like whoa.

Totally depends on what's complimenting them along with what style you purchase. LT's net great gains where shorties provide barely any gains over stock. Do it right and get the Longtubes! If you have a lid, a catback exhaust system, and are running straightpipes instead of cats, I'd throw in a figure of 15-25rwhp, depending on weather and what not.

Oh yeah, definately forgot to mention the tune. Gotta let the PCM know what's been added and how fuel should be delivered and what not.

If you can afford it I'd go with the headers and an exhaust. Although gears would cost you half as much as the headers and exhaust.

Yeah Go With Headers , Gears Did Make A Big Difference However; My Headers Made A Lot Of Top End Power Which I Think Is A Bit Better Because You Get Actual Hp And Sound Cant Beat The Sound Of Headers

Do the headers... if you are in the 12's already and throw some taller gears in there, it won't take allot for your rear to Do the headers and save for a 12 bolt!
