Question 2000 Camaro SS Question

My brother is going to look at a 00 SS on Monday and the dealer that has it told him it has the optional bilstein (spelling?) suspension. Was there a different suspension or are they all bilstein?
thanks

Gerry

I have heard of this before, and Bilstein makes great stuff. But I am not sure if they came from the factory with it......I'll have to check my book like the geek that I am.

There were two suspension packages that were available for that car. Upgrade #1 was the bilstein ~.93g on the skid. The second was the 1LE Koni suspension 1g skid. I have the bilstein, it's not to tight slightly lowered and handles real nice. The 1LE is a little harder on the kidneys but handles like a ****.

Make sure he checks out the SLP sticker under the RPO codes on the driver door. It'll have the optional stuff listed on that (as long as the ink hasn't wore off).

The passenger side door will have an SLP sticker that will tell you what SLP options are on the car. The Bilstein suspention was an Slp Option.

A denali... jeesh, totally 2 ends of the spectrum of car choices there.

I know a kid that did that. He had a 2000 SS that he traded for an 03 Yukon Denali. The chicks like the Denali more than the SS though.
