Exclamation Build Help

I’m in the process of finishing my lq4 swap into my A4 02 Camaro SS (Vert).

I already had a Cat-back Gibson Exausht system, good struts and getting new UMI springs when I get it back. I went ahead and put bigger cam, valve springs, & dice torque converter. I’m wondering how I can continue to build a 400-500hp street build. Everything else is stock on the car! This is my first Car first Build, I’ve been learning along the way.

Any advice helps!!
What do I NEED

This my bad b*tch

Get better heads and better intake manifold, or machine port/mill them.

You could get some 706 or 243 heads and have them ported. I am assuming the LS6 intake is what you have?

If you're porting heads, just get 706s. The added expense for 243s isn't worth it if they're being ported anyway. But honestly, if you're on a budget, a set of stock 706s will boost power with absolutely nothing done but a spring upgrade. The added compression helps you pick up power everywhere, and numerous tests have shown they'll improve power over 317s. You should be able to pick up a pair of 706s anywhere for $100 or less.

that sounds very good and promising. Thank you! Like I said I want it street for now but it will catch some digs & action. You have info for supporting mods?
Keep it as sturdy as possible whatever that may be suspension? gears? Build my diff? If not thanks again!

Your rear axle is fine as is. If you have a good torque converter, it'll launch hard even with 2.73 gears. These axles are not worth upgrading, really. Buying a complete aftermarket axle is the only upgrade to do, but those are expensive. As long as it'll spin both tires, there's really nothing to do to your axle except maintenance. You could add some lower control arm relocation brackets to help with traction, and tubular lower control arms are a good upgrade for not a lot of cash. I noticed you said you had a catback - You still have stock manifolds? If so, upgrading to long tube headers will net you a good 40 HP+ with a tune. I dropped a half second in the 1/4 with my Formula when I added long tubes and a catback.
