Z28 - Ultra Z
Any opinions? This is also something I am considering. I love the hood. And the new air system is neato.

You should definitely get that hood. I have it on my car & I must say it is the best looking hood I have ever seen on a camaro. Pictures dont do it justice until you see one in person. Just my .02 though

I love the ultra Z hood-much smarter design than the SS ram air intake system- but there is just something so cool about the SS hood as it is. It's a much more classic look IMO. Ultra Z is more unique though and no one will try to say you are trying to make a Z28 look like an SS.

anyone that says that is retarded anyways. Just because you put a ebtter looking hood on a z28 doesnt mean you want to be a SS
my z28 looks 100x better now, with the hood
Oh..and the ultra Z hood is pretty sweet..but I do like the SS hood more

I'm pretty sure no one will say anything about you trying to make your car look like an SS, since that is a really popular hood and its not like making a SS clone is very uncommon.

I've got no problem with making an SS clone as long as it's not based on the V6-that just doesn't seem right to me. I plan to get an SS hood for my Z28 in the future as well. I do love the Ultra Z but don't plan on using the ram air so the SS hood would just be for looks.
