Type "www.google.com" into your web browser. Then type "Camaro ZL1 Supercar" and press enter. Enjoy the wealth of information the world has to off you my friend. Oh, but to answer your questions.... Very quickly, very low, and VERY expensive. In that order.

well, that one you are linked to, its the highest rated of the 3 stages they come in, and if that actually sells im willing to bet its gonna be a pretty good chunk into the $100k arena. to rich for me.

That's my dream car right there.

I'm a 60's, early 70's motorhead through and through, but I'd take this one car over ANYTHING else in the world.

If any of you guys are going to be in the Bowling Green KY, area around the weekend of Sept 17-18 and you want to see some ZL1's, the Corvette Museum is throwing the F-Body bash. I went last year and there was about 10 ZL1's there and I think about half of them were Stage 3's. Also some of them were going out to Beech Bend and racing to.

I agree--I just can't see paying that much money for a 4th gen camaro. Maybe if the car had the same mileage 20 or 30 years for now.I may agree with the price tag then.
I would rather pay that price for an orginal 196x "Yenko" Camaro!

But, for around 20k or less you can achieve the same hp rating as that ZL1.

those are sweet *** rides, but it probably would be alot more fun, and definately less expensive to build one of your own. i cant help but picture a cocky *** who bought one of those thinking hes the fastest on the road because he paid 100k for it. i would definately drool at every stop light i see him at though.

I think it would be worth the 100k to have a ZL1. I agree that its not the cheapest way to go about getting 600 hp, But still, a 600 hp Z28 just isnt the same thing as a AUTHENTIC ZL1. the pricing is prolly done like this:
Camaro = $20000
600hp package = $20000
ZL1 name/insignia/braggin rights = $60000
----------
$100000

Very few people can claim to drive an authentic ZL1.

Just got done driving mine tonight. We don't drive it much at all since it is a " show car", but tonight was special, and let me tell you I was the baddest thing on the road...and it wasn't becuase of how much the car is worth. Our car has 43....correction now has 46, and if you think that isn't much try telling that to my dad. I have driven alot of fast cars before, most of which have been in our collection, but this car flat out scares the ever living **** out of me and I love it. Blasted down the road with the cutout open, 427 singing out, and pissing off all the Atlanta Yuppies in their BMW's. It is a major trip to drive, but unfortunately it looks as though we will be selling ours at the Auburn Cruise Auction. Makes me want to cry but we have to make room for new muscle like COPO's, Shelbys, and Yenkos.

Just on a side note, I kicked it in 3rd gear and my speed shot from 40 to 80 in a spilt second. The car seriously feels like you are going through a time warp. The Acceleration G's are so great that my friend couldn't talk without slurring his words.

As for all that applies to when you get the car, I have a pic of price breakdown, but I will have to find it and post it up.

Our car was originally a Phase 1 car, but was transformed to a Phase 3 this winter. It comes with custome cloisonne bades, 1 LE suspension, one of a kind adjustable Penske shocks, aftermarket fuel pump, TTS headers with 1 7/8in primaries to 3 1/2 in collectors. This goes to a custom catted Y then to a 4 in mid with the cut out....then out the back via the chambered exhaust. Motor is a C5R race case prepped and built by Earnhardt Chevy...well hell if you wanna know every thin just go to www.gmmginc.net that will tell you everything. There are only 69 of them, and here is cool part...GMMG will fix any issue you encounter any time, hell Ron or Mike will drive straight to your door and pick the damn thing up no matter where you live. They are great cars built by even better people. If you ever wanted a car that will be a valuble little son of a gun this is the time to buy it, before they go up in value. Same thing goes for the Dick Harrell cars.

i think it is gay to get a car like that and NOT drive it. if i someday bought a car in the 100k$ price range you BETTER believe it would be out every nice day and at the track also. that car was DESIGNED to beat the hell out of on the dragstrip and the road.

jmho i'd rather have a porshe for that $ but i think im preaching to the wrong crowd.
