Gears I have a pretty much stock 2000 Z-28 6-speed. I was just wondering what the stock gear is in the rear end and what the best gear would be for me? Take into consideration this is pretty much a daily driver that never goes to the track. I just want that extra bit of edge out on the street. Thanks. 
stock u have 3.42 and well it depends u can gow ith 4.10s but if u plan to do lots of mods later on then u will be in 5th while u race, but if your not goign to do to many mods go with 4.10s but if your going to do lots of mods go with 3.73 and keep some of your gas mileage
top end? how often do you go 160?? with a 6 speed, i wouldnt worry about the top end losses. i plan on doing a 4.10 in mine soon and if it goes out , it goes out, and in goes a 12 bolt or 9 inch.

I have had 4.11's in for over 24k miles and love it. They were the single biggest bang for buck mod I have done because they change the whold attitude of the car. Instant power from any gear. I also trapped 113.22mph at the track with them on street tires. You will not regret doing it.
