Why don't you tell us what kind of 1/4 mile times you ran bone stock and we'll tell you if you're fast or not.

I know you are not talking to me; but i felt like standing up for the SS. My 2002 Camaro SS went 12.96 totally stock. In 53 degrees weather
And its a Automatic!

Some peoples' definitions of stock are different... what's yours?

SS also means a little more weight I do believe as well. My definition of STOCK is, I go buy a car, I drive it around for a while to break in the engine, I then go to the track and see how it runs. My car with the free mods, and the stuff in my sig runs consistent 13.6s at the track, on street tires and no filter. Tires BTW are BFG g-force KDWs with 285 in rear and 275 in front.

Absolutely bone stock my car made 303.5rwhp and 319rwtq. It also went 13.5 @ 106 on a bad 2.2 60'. I was absolutely stock - tires, filter, everything. That was with 12K on the odo as well.

Now i'm heading to 20K, and I WILL have a 12 second slip before the end of this season!!!

Haha. Well everyone also knows that WS6 stands for "Way Slow x6." I can't believe that this discussion is still going on. My lowly Z28 pulled on an 02' Firehawk when I had a passenger in my car. We both had cat-back and lid I found out when I talked to him. So obviously the "335hp Firehawk" should be way faster than my "310hp Z28"????????

Yeah...there's no car in the world that looks better than a $25K WS6.

I'm glad this post is in the noob forum. It's excusable that way.

As far as the Firehawk is concern. I am not sure if it weighs more or less than the Camaro SS;i think it would be very close. In 53 degrees weather my 2002 Camaro SS totally stock went 12.96 at 107.8 It also is a Automatic!

I ran a 12.90 at 108 Stock in an automatic. Factory tires also. Z28

It's odd that both the 12 second stock times were in auto's, but hey, if they were truely bone stock and were that quick, you're very lucky!

If we keep having threads like this one, when people search they will get the wrong info

We can start a similar thread called "Which is slower? Dodge Grand Caravan or Plymouth Grand Voyager?"
