This one is a great comparison for the LT1, way to go Metallic, you have really helped your case!

OK, I have one other question. Is it not true that you are an officer of the law? If so, why would you so openly break laws as you did in your Vette kill? This is the image you want to portray to our youth about how their civil servants act? I don't know, sounds like a bad idea. But at least you finally have learned that your '02 has the LS6 intake; a fact that everyone else has known since mid-2000. Good job of looking into the product line prior to making your purchase. I commend you, I'm sure none of those 'kids' know as much as you do...they don't have big diplomas on THEIR walls yet.
So that explains why he thinks he knows everything and knows nothing; he's an officer of the law . Not to stereotype because there are a few cool cops around here but most think they know everything and that they are the

If its any CONSTELATION to me (I like the big dipper myself) everyone else obviously thinks you are a idiot too.

They are just being subtle about it, in case you didn't notice (you probably didn't).

I am going to assume he is smarter because of this and more educated on LS1's.

It was definatly funny, and he definatly was wrong and made a fool of himself.....but

Well in all reality, he only had one real direction to go in the way of knowledge of LS1s. Any less and he might profess that he lives his life a quarter mile at a time...

Back to the original topic, (and I'm too lazy to read all 6 pages of posts, so if someone has already said this, I agree with him):

I think the difference comes down to which one is a factory freak, which driver is fractionally on edge that particular race, oil temp, and about a thousand other little variables. (And I, for one, am pretty sure that "ram air" or actually, CAI works - at least to some degree).

When it comes down to it, a Z28 could take a Firehawk, and a T/A could take an SS, or the other way around. The answer is: it depends, and they are too close to determine, so it's safe to say that they are all equal. Any advantage one has over another on the street is minescule, and often, circumstantial.

That is, unless you get a dog Z28 to race a factory-freak Firehawk. Then there could be a good difference.

An LS1 is an LS1.

You nailed it right on the head...good job! Even more impressive is that you made a complete synopsis of what was said over the whole thread quite concisely, without even reading it, thanks!
