I am veteran when it comes down to f-bodies since I use to own a 95 firehawk for 5 years and I have just bought a 2002 WS6 about 2 months ago. These past few months I have done a couple of bolt on upgrades which have helped my car a SLP Loud Mouth, SLP Lid, K&N filter, SLP 85 MM MAF, Smooth Bellow, ported throttle body, grantielli strut tower brace and my car comes with the LS6 intake.
Last night in Chicago at around 11:30 at night as I am cruising with my brother I see a white LT1 corvette opposite road coming towards me and my brother. I say "watch this" to my brother. I quickly bust a U- Turn and follow the corvette. Dont get me wrong I LOVE each and every single Corvette out on the road. I quickly chase him down and I line up next to him and listen to his very loud exhaust on a huge two lane straight away road and ask him:"what year is that?" and he replies "a 95". So I tell him "that thing has an LT1" he replies "yeah it has an LT1". So I rev my engine and as the light turns green he takes off and I quickly follow chase him down and pass him up like it was nothing. I was shocked at how easy it was to pass him by.
We line up next to each other and he says that thing is not that fast!! I say oh yeah than what happened to you just right now?? My brother instigates and says lets do this on Cicero Ave, which is a huge two lane avenue with long long straight aways. We finally line up light turns green he gets a quick jump I do my thing and before I knew it he was about 7 to 8 car lengths behind me. My brother goes WOW.
He then asks me is your car supercharged?? I go nope just a couple bolt ons. He was shocked in amazement.
That is just one of my street kills aside from killing an Evolution the other day!!

Yea I use to have a LT1 Ws6 and then I got smoked by a 99 SS with Lid and Hpp3, I mean smmmokkkked, and my LT1 would woop up on LT1 Vettes, race 3 of them from highway rolls and left them!!! Thats why I got rid of my LT1 TA and drive what I have now and love every minute of it(until something breaks)

yea, lt1's were badass in their day, but now its the ls1,ls6, and ls2's...ive but a few lt1's down myself..nice kill man

Nice kill. Some of the LT1 C4s came w/ a 2.55 rear end(autos) and are just flat out slow. With a few mods they can become a handfull so keep that in mind. For some reason vette owners are the most fun to kill...they think they are in GMs fastest car...thats just not true all the time.

yea, i hear that kill. i basicly did the same thing to 2 older guys in an lt1 vette. i dont know if they knew they had it coming.
